Voted 'The best' in our blind tasting of Amarone's.
We loved it and noticed our tasting group went back for more again and again... This Amarone is a real standout.
Intense red colour with garnet reflections of great consistency. The aromas are ripe and evolved of cooked fruit, blackcurrant, blackberry, with hints of chocolate, coffee, with a balsamic touch. The taste is incisive and full of character.
Aged in a combination of French and Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years.
Further aged for 12 months in bottle.

■ 1x Porto Rossa Barolo DOCG - 2019
Crafted from grapes sourced from the historic vineyards of Serralunga and Perno, this Barolo allows enthusiasts to savour the harmony of the fruit, evolving into a delightful spicy texture.
With aromas reminiscent of lovage, prunes and dried fruits, balmy character with hints of walnuts and a whiff of Sherry. On the palate it's elegant with fine acidity, ripe tannins, typical maturity flavour of walnuts, hints of dried fruits and mild spices, good structure and length.
Aged for at least 2 years in Slovenian oak barrels.
Ready to drink now or let it continue to age and enjoy in the years to come.
■ 1x La Palazzetta Brunello di Montalcino 2018 Riserva
Only in the best vintages, after a careful selection and hand harvesting of the grapes, this incredible Riserva from La Palazzetta is produced. The La Palazzetta Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is aged in wooden barrels for 5 years plus a further 8 months in the bottle.
The bouquet is intense and powerful, rich in aromas, with hints of blackberry, blueberry, chocolate and tobacco. The taste is harmonious, soft and persistent. Good acidity and very well balanced.
A wonderful find for us and voted the winner in our recent Brunello Riserva blind tasting.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
