Description
Supreme Italian Red.
Very deep red with garnet highlights. Very persistent with notes of cherry, plums, ripe blackcurrant, tobacco and final toasty taste. Great structure, soft, plenty of velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish, spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate.
Aged in barrique for 9-12 months, this wine is born from the three important grape varieties of Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily. After long research and experimentation, we have identified three vineyards with very old vines that have given us wines that represent the best expression of the territories of origin, to the point of being able to convey in the best way, the essence of warmth and the typicality of the wines of central and southern Italy.
Varietals: Montepulciano, Primitivo and Nerello Mascalese.
Area of Production: Abruzzi, Apulia and Sambuca di Sicilia
Serve at 18°C and let breathe in the glass for a good 30 mins while you enjoy the aromas.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
