Only in the best vintages, after a careful selection and hand harvesting of the grapes, this incredible Riserva from La Palazzetta is produced. The La Palazzetta Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is aged in wooden barrels for 5 years plus a further 8 months in the bottle.

The bouquet is intense and powerful, rich in aromas, with hints of blackberry, blueberry, chocolate and tobacco. The taste is harmonious, soft and persistent. Good acidity and very well balanced.
The taste is powerful yet harmonious and elegant. This is a wine of extreme longevity. Time will reveal further depths. This is an utterly classic Brunello in the making. Drink from 2024 through to 2046.
A wonderful find for us and voted the winner in our recent Brunello Riserva blind tasting. Excellent to drink now or let it age and it will improve even more as the years go by!

Winemaker Profile:
Located in Castelnuovo on the South-East side of Montalcino and adjoining the magnificent 1000 year old Abbey of Sant'Antimo, La Palazzetta has 20 hectares of vineyards and 2500 olive trees.
With family memories from the times when their great-grandfathers in Castelnuovo were farmers cultivating grains. Flavio and Carla began making wine in 1988 with just one hectare of Sangiovese. Nowadays their children Luca and Tea continue the story that for generations honors the respect and the love for the land.
With over 30 years of wine making experience, Flavio and Carla use both tradition and innovation to lead their handpicked grapes to the natural process of vilification. Controlled temperature fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.
In 2016 La Palazzetta was awarded with the “Ecofriendly Cellar Diploma” because of the commitment on ecologically sustainable values, the realization of projects aiming to land and vineyards protection and the actuation of energy saving plans, and with an attentive care in the vineyards according to the organic farming method.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Generally yes, although Australia Post has occasionally rejected deliveries to P.O. Boxes. We will contact you if your delivery to a P.O. Box is rejected by Australia Post.
Refunds and Returns:
The following policy sets out how Bottega Italia and its related entities (DS Italia) manages customer refunds.
■ Breakages
If you receive a case of wine with broken bottles, you must take pictures of the case & bottles, then contact us within 2 working days of the date of delivery. Once we have received your claim we will work towards issuing you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the broken bottles.
Please note that risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds or account credits are offered for products that are damaged after you have accepted the delivery.
■ Refund Process
If you would like to submit a claim, simply email us with your pictures: bottega.italia@outlook.com
Typically we strive to have all refunds or account credits processed within 3-5 working days of your notification to us.
■ Exceptions
If we reasonably believe that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the Refund in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer's account.
■ Manufacturer's liability
Subject to any rights you may have under any law, if an item purchased by you with an accompanying manufacturer’s warranty, Bottega Italia can take no responsibility for the content, fulfilment or enforcement of that manufacturer’s warranty. It is your responsibility to contact the relevant manufacturer in relation to all questions and claims relating to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Other than in the circumstances outlined above in Refund Policy and Breakages policy, no returns will be accepted and no refunds will be made in respect of purchases you make via the Bottega Italia Website.
