Description
Smooth and enveloping, this opens with delicate scents of blue flower, pipe tobacco, camphor and new leather. It's full-bodied and savoury, with flavours of raspberry jam, licorice and crushed mint set against a backbone of fine-grained tannins. While it's concentrated, it also has a weightless finesse.
The Barolo Carobric personality is about focus, precision of elements, intensity and length. The aromatics are lifted with a beautiful tension and clarity.

The Barolo Carobric was born in 1996 by combining the best of three Scavino terroir (Rocche di C., Cannubi, and Fiasco).
Paolo Scavino is an historical winery founded in 1921 in the Barolo region. Now run by the fourth generation of the Scavino family, their work is inspired by the love and respect they have for their territory and they pursue purity of expression, complexity and elegance for their wines from the three local grapes Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
