Description
This Chianti Rriserva is a brilliant ruby red colour with garnet highlights. Featuring aromas of cherries, red plums, and currants layered over notes of earth, rose petals, and leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied showing excellent structure with firm, integrated tannins and plenty of spice on the long finish.
Aged for a minimum of 2 years, for 15 months in tanks, then 9 months in French oak barrels and a further 5 months in the bottle before release.

Wine Maker Notes:
The Greve is the heart of Chianti, the hilly region of central Tuscany . The vineyards are on the seep slopes so the wines from quartzitic blue -grey sandstone, with layers of sand and calcareous trained according to a simple Guyot system, with a maximum of five to eight buds per vine.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
