Elegant and warm with a velvety mouthfeel. Incredibly long, persistent finish that lingers on the palate. The aromas are notes of raisined fruit and cherry flavours with mild hints of vanilla and spice present as well.
Amarone ages gracefully for upwards of 10 years if stored properly.
Amarone is one of Italy’s most prestigious red wines with a unique production method exclusive to the region. Produced from dried grapes cultivated in the historic Classico area of the appellation.
Cesari Amarone is extensively aged in a combination of French and Slavonian oak barrels for a total of 3 years following fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Winery Profile:
Produced in the municipalities of Negrar, Marano di Valpolicella, Sant'Ambrogio, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano in the historic area. Corvina, Rondinella and Negrara grapes dried carefully on racks until mid-January, completed by aging in large oak barrels and long rest in the bottle, give us this great wine.

Already at the beginning of the seventies, in fact, Amarone Cesari is among the first to arrive in the five continents thanks to the passion and spirit of initiative of the Cesari family, whose original vision was to want to produce a great Amarone that could compete with the best Italian and international red wines. Thus Cesari wines begin the success story in the world.
Today Gerardo Cesari has further objectives: listening to the market to offer unique, elegant, harmonious and balanced wines, respecting a tradition that makes use of new knowledge in the vineyard, producing in a sustainable way for the environment and guaranteeing the consumer, thanks to a careful certification of the winemaking processes. A constantly evolving company that does not forget, however, the history of its territory and its origins.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
