Description
This Amarone Della Valpolicella from Cielo is known as a Super Venetian.
Intense garnet red in colour. A rich, full bodied and velvety smooth taste with red fruit hints and spicy notes. A wonderful long cherry finish with vanilla flavours which rated very highly in our blind tasting event.

Winemaker Profile:
The Cielo family are 4th generation winemakers dating back to 1908 when Giovanni Cielo, the founder, purchased a small estate in Montorso, just overlooking the Castles of Romeo and Juliet. With the fourth generation, Pierpaolo and Luca, the Cielo winery joined Cantine dei Colli Berici and was renamed Cielo e Terra (Sky and Earth).
Cielo e Terra has now grown into several joint venture, this joint venture being between the Cielo family and the Casa Defrà (the house of brothers) whom have been delivering for 4 generations great quality venetian wines. Today the family of growers has enlarged to more than 2.000 vine-growers of our territory to have a better control over the quality and to create more fair value along the supply chain.
The Casa Defra vineyards territory stretches south of Vicenza, surrounded by gentle hills, towards the borders with the neighbouring provinces of Padua and Verona. Fields and woods alternate with olive groves and vineyards, in a succession of valleys, hills, small plateaus, streams and canals.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Generally yes, although Australia Post has occasionally rejected deliveries to P.O. Boxes. We will contact you if your delivery to a P.O. Box is rejected by Australia Post.
Refunds and Returns:
The following policy sets out how Bottega Italia and its related entities (DS Italia) manages customer refunds.
■ Breakages
If you receive a case of wine with broken bottles, you must take pictures of the case & bottles, then contact us within 2 working days of the date of delivery. Once we have received your claim we will work towards issuing you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the broken bottles.
Please note that risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds or account credits are offered for products that are damaged after you have accepted the delivery.
■ Refund Process
If you would like to submit a claim, simply email us with your pictures: bottega.italia@outlook.com
Typically we strive to have all refunds or account credits processed within 3-5 working days of your notification to us.
■ Exceptions
If we reasonably believe that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the Refund in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer's account.
■ Manufacturer's liability
Subject to any rights you may have under any law, if an item purchased by you with an accompanying manufacturer’s warranty, Bottega Italia can take no responsibility for the content, fulfilment or enforcement of that manufacturer’s warranty. It is your responsibility to contact the relevant manufacturer in relation to all questions and claims relating to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Other than in the circumstances outlined above in Refund Policy and Breakages policy, no returns will be accepted and no refunds will be made in respect of purchases you make via the Bottega Italia Website.
