Description
This 'small batch' Primitivo di Manduria from Riporta is Ruby red in colour with violet dark hints. Intense, complex, and fruity aroma, with notes of cherries and blackberries. Velvety and soft texture with a warm and long persistence in flavours.
Aged in American and French oak barriques for 6 months before bottling.

Our Primitivo vines are located in one of the most fascinating areas of Salento,
between Sava and Manduria, in the heart of the denomination. The warmth of the sun and the proximity to the Ionian Sea are the most important factors for
the production of Primitivo di Manduria DOC. This land gives life to the typical bush vines, “albarello” which are over 30 years old which give to the wine a unique aromatic characteristic.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
