Description
Light yellow in colour with green reflections. it presents a broad and intense aromatic bouquet with hints of ripe pear, elderflower and delicate herbal hints. Fresh and delicate on the palate with notes of almond and citrus are supported by a delicate savouriness.
Cultivated in northern Salento which overlooks the Ionian Sea, in an extremely complex terroir from the point of view of the soil, characterized mainly by alluvial terraces, volcanic plateaus on ancient hills.

The Varvaglione winery has been operating in the wine sector since 1921, for four generations, and is one of the historic players in Apulian wine scene, where tradition now meets innovation.
The focus of the Taranto-based winery is on local grape varietals such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Mulvasia and Aglianico for red wines, and Verdeca, Mulvasia and Fiano for white wines.
Today, the Varvaglione brand is recognised around the worls, supported by a prestigious selection of wines that have received numerous awards and accolades.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a physical address. We cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. address.
