Description
Intense ruby red in colour. The nose shows notes of plums and quince along with spicy aromas of laurel, cocoa, white pepper and pleasurable balsamic finish of eucalyptus and mint. The palate is vibrant, soft, characterized by a savoury and long finish, which brings back the wine's ample fruity, spicy and balsamic aromas.

Villa Antinori is an important corner stone of the Antinori wineries. Its name is associated with history. At the same time it represents ongoing progress. The one essential principle is continuous research for increasingly higher quality standards. This idea produced wines that share a common passion for quality.
Villa Antinori Chianti was originally produced in 1928 by Marchese Niccolò Antinori as a Chianti Classico that could age and that would improve over time. Soon after, Villa Antinori was found in the most prestigious cellars in embassies, royal houses, the best hotels and restaurants.
Winemaker Profile
The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries, since the year 1385.
In 1385 Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild.
All throughout its history, twenty-six generations long, the Antinori family has managed the business directly making innovative and sometimes bold decisions while upholding the utmost respect for traditions and the environment.

Can my wine be left if I’m not home?
Yes! However if someone else is accepting the delivery for you, they must be over 18 years of age. Bottega Italia cannot deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.
If nobody will be at home, then just make sure when placing your order that you give us explicit instructions that it’s ok to leave the delivery. With "Authority to Leave" deliveries, our couriers will leave the wine in a safe place, where possible at the delivery address. If that’s not possible, the driver will leave a card to advise that the delivery has been will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent.
By providing us with an "Authority To Leave" instruction when placing your order, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
Can my order be delivered to a P.O. Box?
Generally yes, although Australia Post has occasionally rejected deliveries to P.O. Boxes. We will contact you if your delivery to a P.O. Box is rejected by Australia Post.
Refunds and Returns:
The following policy sets out how Bottega Italia and its related entities (DS Italia) manages customer refunds.
■ Breakages
If you receive a case of wine with broken bottles, you must take pictures of the case & bottles, then contact us within 2 working days of the date of delivery. Once we have received your claim we will work towards issuing you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the broken bottles.
Please note that risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds or account credits are offered for products that are damaged after you have accepted the delivery.
■ Refund Process
If you would like to submit a claim, simply email us with your pictures: bottega.italia@outlook.com
Typically we strive to have all refunds or account credits processed within 3-5 working days of your notification to us.
■ Exceptions
If we reasonably believe that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the Refund in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer's account.
■ Manufacturer's liability
Subject to any rights you may have under any law, if an item purchased by you with an accompanying manufacturer’s warranty, Bottega Italia can take no responsibility for the content, fulfilment or enforcement of that manufacturer’s warranty. It is your responsibility to contact the relevant manufacturer in relation to all questions and claims relating to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Other than in the circumstances outlined above in Refund Policy and Breakages policy, no returns will be accepted and no refunds will be made in respect of purchases you make via the Bottega Italia Website.
